Beatriz Pereira

(2000 Torres Novas, Portugal) is a Portuguese artist and researcher in development based in Lisbon, working in the field of dance and performance. Has a Dance degree from Escola Superior de Dança, in Lisbon and Stockholm University of the Arts, in Stockholm. As an interpreter/performer, Beatriz highlights her work with Leonor Lopes in CARRINGTON #2 (2021), with Amanda Piña in Tira Kuna - Dances of Earth (Endangered Human Movements Vol. 5) (2021), with Francisco Camacho and Carlota Lagido in Gust (2019), with Marta Tomé in Shadow (2018) and Habitat 3.0 (2020), with A.ves Liberta in Lebensreform (2017), with Carolina Couto in Entropia (2020), with João Galante e Ana Borralho in Gatilho da Felicidade (2017), and with Colectivo 249 in Fluxo (2019). She’s interested in activating her artistic work politically, seeking to preserve criticism, curiosity, research, challenge and questioning, trying to develop her work in dialogue with other artistic disciplines and with cultural production and management.
